They are no shirt men, with live body paint, and they play screams from the throat.
Their music is basically sections of nirvana songs on loop and also some platitutes about life.
I’m actually into it, because, it’s intentionally preposterous.

Tim Gilbert took the stage, and won the audience over with his obese charm and he drew attention to things that were uncomfortable and made them funny again!

A nerd sitting next to me (of the good variety) has suggested, upon my explaining to him that it used to be a tradition that people would swap set lists at comedy shows and do jokes based on one another’s short joke titles, that there be a room in toronto where that is not only desired but RE-desired. The loner show returns again this month again. For thoze that don’t know, this show is one of the MOST talked about MOST attended MOST revered SUPER shows of all time that has spawned zillions of wonderful talented acts and is hosted by the inimitable Brian barlow, who singlehanded brought silly back.
I love brian to death, and i love this show to death. If you go to only one show this sunday, make it this show.
Sunday night live is also this sunday too.
