Howden,Kent&Rowe present keith johnstone’s Micetro weekly at the Diesel Playhouse in the Tim Sims space. This is high quality improv, not just slap happy madhouse (though there’s more than enough of that). Each show will be full of funny, bleak, disturbing, funny, weird, sad, uplifting, spontaneous prairie style narrative improv. you should be there. If you can only see ONE sketch show this sunday, THIS would be it. The writer/master of the Jane Show, Teresa Pavlinek, who was also on, YES, you guessed it, Historical Bites! Will be there. Very excellent Band Rural Alberta Advantage will be there dominating from the prairies. They are not conservative politically.
The loner show returns again this month again. For thoze that don’t know, this show is one of the MOST talked about MOST attended MOST revered SUPER shows of all time that has spawned zillions of wonderful talented acts and is hosted by the inimitable Brian barlow, who singlehanded brought silly back.
I love brian to death, and i love this show to death. If you go to only one show this sunday, make it this show.
